Offutt Air Force Base lies 10 miles south of Omaha along the Missouri River, serving as headquarters for U.S. Strategic Command. Interstate 80 and Highway 75 provide the main access routes, with Highway 370 connecting from the west. The base operates the famous blue and white Boeing VC-25A aircraft used as Air Force One.
