Odessa is a small Finger Lakes village on Seneca Lake's western shore, reached via State Route 414 from Watkins Glen (12 miles south) or Geneva (25 miles north). The area's rolling hills and lake-effect climate support local vineyards, while County Route 6 provides east-west access across the region. The village post office has operated continuously since 1827 from its original Main Street location.
