Odessa is a tiny farming town of 87 people in western Minnesota, right on the South Dakota border. Highway 7 runs east-west through town, connecting to Ortonville in 10 minutes or the Twin Cities in about 2.5 hours. The massive grain elevator serves as a landmark visible for miles across the flat prairie landscape.
