This small Delaware town of about 400 people sits along Route 299 in New Castle County, about 20 miles south of Wilmington. You can reach Odessa via Route 13 north from Dover or south from Wilmington, then take Route 299 west. The Historic Houses of Odessa museum preserves several 18th-century buildings, including the impressive 1774 Corbit-Sharp House with original Georgian details.
