Odell is a small farming town in southeastern Nebraska with 211 residents, located about 45 miles south of Lincoln via Highway 2. Highway 8 runs east-west through town, connecting to Beatrice 15 miles east and continuing toward Diller. The area features rolling prairie farmland typical of the region. The town's historic grain elevator serves as both a local landmark and working agricultural facility.
