Odebolt is a farming town of about 950 people in western Iowa's Sac County, sitting along Highway 175 about 15 miles from Ida Grove. Most visitors arrive via Highway 20 from either Des Moines (120 miles southeast) or Sioux City (60 miles southwest), then take Highway 141 north to local roads. The restored 1908 Odebolt Opera House downtown still hosts live theater performances.
