Oberon is a tiny farming community of under 40 people in north-central North Dakota's Benson County. Located about 30 miles from Devils Lake via Highway 20 and Highway 57, it's primarily reached by visitors with family or agricultural business connections. The grain elevator, visible across the flat prairie for miles, has anchored this remote community since the early railroad days.
