Oberlin is a college town 35 miles southwest of Cleveland, home to the prestigious liberal arts college founded in 1833. Take I-90 west from Cleveland to Route 57 south, or from Columbus via I-71 north to Route 18 west. The historic Tappan Square downtown features a rare surviving American elm from 1846.
