Oakley is a small farming town in south-central Idaho, reached via I-84 to Burley, then Highway 27 south for 12 miles. The area features high desert climate and agricultural landscapes at 4,600 feet elevation. Most visitors arrive from Boise or Salt Lake City, while locals commute north to Burley for services. The town's crown jewel is the restored 1907 Howells Opera House, which still hosts live performances.
