Oakhaven is a tiny rural community in southwestern Arkansas, about 20 miles northeast of Hope via Highway 4. With just 34 residents in Hempstead County, it's reached primarily from I-30 at Hope, then northeast through rolling farmland and pine forests. The area features a historic 1923 one-room schoolhouse that once served children from farms scattered across miles of countryside.
