Oak Ridge is a small Missouri town of about 300 people in Cape Girardeau County, about 15 miles northwest of Cape Girardeau via Route 177. From I-55, take Exit 105 and head west. The area sits near Trail of Tears State Park, where hiking trails follow Mississippi River bluffs and commemorate the 1830s forced relocation of Native American tribes.
