Oak Hill is an upscale Nashville suburb about 12 miles southwest of downtown via I-65 or Route 100. This small Davidson County city of 4,600 sits on rolling hills covered in hardwood forests. Major routes include I-65 for commuting to Nashville, Route 100 west to the Natchez Trace, and US-31 as an alternate downtown route. Nashville International Airport is 20 miles northeast. Despite covering just 2.1 square miles, Oak Hill maintains its own police force.
