Oak Harbor is Whidbey Island's largest city and home to a major naval air station. Drive Highway 20 west from I-5 at Burlington, crossing the striking Deception Pass Bridge, or take the Port Townsend ferry to Keystone and head north. The downtown antique district occupies restored 1940s military buildings from the base's wartime expansion.
