Nunda is a tiny farming town of 40 people in southeastern South Dakota's Lake County. Take Highway 34 from either Madison (12 miles east) or Colman (15 miles west). Most visitors come from Sioux Falls via I-29 to Exit 109, then west on Highway 34. The old grain elevator still stands along the former railway line, visible from the highway as you pass through this agricultural community.
