Norwood is a small village near the Canadian border in northern New York's St. Lawrence County. Take US Route 11 east-west through town, or NY Route 56 north from Massena for the most direct access. The area gets heavy snow and bitter cold winters typical of the North Country. The village preserves New York State's last remaining railroad roundhouse, a impressive 1902 stone building that once serviced steam locomotives.
