This tiny Louisville suburb of 400 people sits along I-264, about 15 miles east of downtown. Most visitors take I-264 to Breckenridge Lane or drive up Bardstown Road from the south. Louisville's airport is 20 miles southwest. Despite covering just one-third of a square mile, Norwood maintains its own police department, making it one of Kentucky's smallest cities by area.
