Norway is a farming town of about 550 people in eastern Iowa, 20 miles southwest of Cedar Rapids via Highway 30 and Highway 212. The drive from Cedar Rapids takes about 25 minutes through corn and soybean country. The Eastern Iowa Airport is 30 miles northeast. The town hosts an annual Scandinavian Heritage Festival celebrating its Norwegian immigrant founders from the 1850s.
