North Braddock is a small borough along the Monongahela River, about 12 miles southeast of Pittsburgh via I-376 and Route 8. The area sits in Pennsylvania's historic steel valley, with the massive Edgar Thomson Steel Works visible across the river. The converted North Braddock Trail Bridge connects to the Great Allegheny Passage trail system and offers great views of the working steel mills.
