North Bend anchors Oregon's south coast where the Coos River meets the Pacific. Drive Highway 101 along the coast or take Highway 42 west from I-5 through Coos Bay. Southwest Oregon Regional Airport sits right in town, rare for coastal Oregon. The 1925 Egyptian Theatre downtown still shows movies under its elaborate pharaoh-themed facade.
