North Adams is a small farming community of 435 people in south-central Michigan's Hillsdale County. US-12 runs directly through town, connecting it to Hillsdale 15 miles east and Sturgis to the west, while State Route 60 provides north-south access through the rural countryside. The town maintains one of Michigan's few remaining one-room schoolhouses, now serving as a community center.
