Nordheim is a small farming town in DeWitt County, about 90 miles southeast of San Antonio via US 87. The community of 476 sits amid cattle ranches and agricultural fields, accessible from Cuero 15 miles north on US 183. The town centers around St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, built by Czech and German immigrants in the early 1900s.
