Nineveh is a small farming community in Johnson County, about 25 miles south of Indianapolis via I-65 and local roads. State Road 135 runs directly through town, intersecting with SR 252 at the main crossroads. Most traffic comes from nearby Greenwood, Franklin, or Columbus, with Columbus Municipal Airport 15 miles southeast. The town's 1922 covered bridge over Driftwood Creek is one of Johnson County's few remaining covered bridges.
