Nimrod is a tiny Minnesota town of 118 people located 15 miles northeast of Wadena on Highway 71. Visitors typically arrive via Highway 71 from larger towns or take Interstate 94 west from the Twin Cities then north on 71. The area draws seasonal visitors to nearby lakes for fishing and recreation. The town was named after the biblical hunter and has maintained its post office continuously since 1900.
