Nicollet is a farming community of about 950 people in south-central Minnesota, sitting where Highway 15 and Highway 68 meet. It's a quick 15-minute drive north to New Ulm and 20 miles south to Mankato, making it a quiet stop between larger regional centers. The town still operates its original 1904 Carnegie Library, one of Minnesota's smallest Carnegie libraries still in use.
