Newcastle is a small Texas town of about 700 people in Young County, sitting on Highway 380 between Graham and Jacksboro. It's ranch country with rolling prairie, experiencing hot summers and mild winters. Most visitors arrive via US 287 to the north, then take local roads south. The 1910 red brick courthouse with its working clock tower dominates the town square.
