New Eagle is a small Pennsylvania river town about 20 miles south of Pittsburgh, reached via I-70 west to Route 88 south. Local routes include scenic Route 837 along the Monongahela River and Route 136 from Washington. The town sits in typical southwestern PA coal country with steep hills and river valleys. Its historic three-story brick company store building from the early 1900s still dominates the small downtown area.
