New Concord is a small college town in east-central Ohio, home to Muskingum University and about 2,600 residents. Located on historic US Route 40, it's easily reached from I-70 Exit 169, about 70 miles east of Columbus. The town sits in rolling hill country typical of southeastern Ohio and serves as the birthplace of astronaut John Glenn, whose museum on campus displays memorabilia from his space missions.
