New Buffalo is a Lake Michigan resort town just off I-94, an hour east of Chicago. The small city draws summer visitors with its beaches and historic downtown. I-94 connects it directly to Chicago and Kalamazoo, while scenic Highway 12 runs through the center. The 1914 Amtrak depot still serves trains between Chicago and Grand Rapids.
