New Beaver is a small Lawrence County borough in western Pennsylvania, about 45 minutes northwest of Pittsburgh via I-376 and Route 18. The community sits in rolling Appalachian foothills with typical four-season weather. Most visitors take I-376 to Exit 7, then Route 18 north for eight miles. Route 168 offers a scenic alternate route through farmland. Beaver County Airport provides general aviation access nearby. The town's name comes from historic beaver dams along local creeks, where old mill foundations still emerge from the undergrowth.
