Nevis is a small Minnesota lake town of about 500 people in Hubbard County's forest and lake region. Highway 34 runs east-west through town, connecting to Park Rapids 10 miles east and continuing to Detroit Lakes. From Minneapolis, take Highway 10 northwest to Highway 34 for the 150-mile drive. The town features the world's largest tiger muskie statue, a 40-foot fiberglass fish celebrating local fishing.
