Nemaha is a tiny farming town in northwestern Iowa's Sac County, home to fewer than 50 people amid corn and soybean fields. Reach it via Highway 71 from Storm Lake (15 miles), then east on County Road M54, or west from Sac City on Highway 20. The town's historic 1885 one-room schoolhouse still stands as a testament to pioneer education.
