Needmore is a tiny Lawrence County community of about 300 people in south-central Indiana's hill country. Take State Road 37 south from Indianapolis (75 miles) or north from Louisville via I-64 (60 miles), then follow county roads through Bedford. The town sits in the White River valley near Hoosier National Forest, surrounded by farms and limestone hills. It got its name from an early general store that never seemed to have enough merchandise in stock.
