Naval Academy is home to the US Naval Academy, a small waterfront community of 3,000 along the Severn River near Chesapeake Bay. From Baltimore, take I-97 south to US-50 east (25 miles). DC visitors use US-50 east directly (35 miles). Local routes include MD-450 and MD-70 connecting to nearby Annapolis. The Naval Academy Chapel contains John Paul Jones' marble tomb.
