Nahunta is a small county seat in southeastern Georgia with about 1,400 residents. US Highway 82 runs right through town, connecting to Brunswick and the coast 45 miles east or Waycross to the west. State Route 15 provides the main north-south route, while I-95 sits 30 miles east for longer trips. The 1921 red brick courthouse with its clock tower anchors the downtown square.
