Mustang is a suburban city of 22,000 in Canadian County, just 15 miles southwest of Oklahoma City via Highway 4 or Southwest 104th Street. The city connects to I-40 through Yukon and sits near I-44 for longer trips to Dallas or Kansas City. Will Rogers World Airport is about 20 miles northeast. The town got its name from wild horses that once roamed the prairie here.
