Muscotah is a small farming community of 141 people in northeastern Kansas, about 20 miles northwest of Atchison via US Highway 59. From Kansas City, take US 73 north to Highway 59, roughly 60 miles total. The town sits in rolling prairie country and maintains its own post office despite its tiny size.
