Murray City is a tiny Hocking County community of under 300 people in southeastern Ohio's hill country. Take Route 33 southeast from Columbus for 45 miles, then follow local roads south. Most visitors arrive via Route 33, while locals use Route 374 for north-south trips to Logan or Athens. The town's 1895 one-room schoolhouse still stands on the main street.
