Munford is a small city of about 6,600 people in western Tennessee, roughly 30 miles northeast of Memphis. Highway 51 runs straight through town and provides the main route to Memphis, while Highway 196 connects east-west to Millington and other county areas. The restored 1920s railroad depot downtown now serves as the visitor center.
