Muncie is a tiny farming town in east-central Illinois near the Indiana border, home to just 147 residents. Take Route 1 north from Danville (15 miles) or connect from I-74 if coming from Chicago. The community sits on flat prairie farmland with corn and soybean fields all around. You can still spot traces of the old Chicago and Eastern Illinois Railroad grade running through town.
