Mulhall is a tiny farming town 15 miles northeast of Stillwater on Highway 51, home to 257 people and surrounded by wheat fields and cattle pastures. Most visitors come from Stillwater or Oklahoma City via I-35 and Highway 51. The town is famous as the birthplace of Bill Pickett, the Black cowboy who invented bulldogging and was the first African American in the National Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame.
