Muenster is a small German-heritage town in north-central Texas, about 90 minutes northwest of Dallas via I-35 and US Highway 82. Founded by German Catholic immigrants in 1889, the community of 1,300 maintains its cultural roots with an annual Germanfest celebration each April that attracts visitors from across the region.
