Mountain Park is a small farming town of 265 people in southwestern Oklahoma's Kiowa County. Reach it via State Highway 9, which runs east-west through town. From Hobart, take US-183 south then Highway 9 west about 15 miles. From Altus, it's 30 miles west on Highway 9. Long-distance visitors typically use I-44 to Lawton, then connect via US-62 and local highways. The town's standout feature is its 1936 red brick schoolhouse that still anchors Main Street.
