Mountain Lake is a farming town of 2,000 in southwestern Minnesota, accessible via US Highway 60 which runs east-west through the community. The main route from Minneapolis takes Highway 60 and I-35 for about 150 miles, while Sioux Falls visitors drive 60 miles east on US 60.
