Mount Sterling is a tiny farming community in southwestern Wisconsin's Crawford County with just 164 residents. Highway 171 connects it to Richland Center (25 miles northeast) and Spring Green (20 miles southeast), winding through the scenic Driftless Area's rolling hills and valleys. The village still operates its original 1856 post office, one of Crawford County's oldest continuously operating postal facilities.
