Mount Olive is a tiny Shenandoah Valley community of 58 people, reached mainly via US Route 340 and State Route 55. Most visitors come from Front Royal, 15 miles southeast, while locals make short trips to Winchester for services. The post office still operates from a converted early 1900s general store building.
