Mount Dora is a charming hill town 25 miles northwest of Orlando, known for antique shopping and Victorian architecture. Take US-441 north from Orlando through Apopka, then SR-46 west to downtown. From Tampa, use I-4 east to US-27 north, connecting to SR-46. The city sits 184 feet above sea level with cooler temps than typical Florida. The 1883 Lakeside Inn is one of the state's oldest continuously operating hotels.
