Mount Croghan is a tiny Chesterfield County community of 170 people along US Highway 1 between Camden and the North Carolina border. The town sits on rolling hills covered in pine forests, about 60 miles southeast of Charlotte via US 74 and US 1. It's named for a 665-foot hill that's one of the county's highest points and visible across the surrounding farmland.
