Mortons Gap is a small Hopkins County town of 650 people in western Kentucky, positioned along US Highway 62 between Madisonville and Dawson Springs. Interstate 69 runs just east of town, connecting to Evansville and Henderson within 45 miles. The community sits in a natural gap between hills that gave the town its name and served as an early settler route.
