Morristown is a farming community of 1,100 people in central Indiana, about 25 miles southeast of Indianapolis via State Road 9. The town sits at the intersection of SR 9 and SR 44, with easy access from I-74 through Greenfield or Shelbyville. Pope Field provides general aviation access just outside town. The towering grain elevator downtown serves as a landmark visible for miles across the surrounding cornfields.
