Moro is a small farming town in north-central Oregon's wheat country, accessible via Highway 97 about 120 miles from Portland. Take I-84 east to The Dalles, then Highway 197 south to Highway 97. The town sits on rolling plateau land where trucks haul grain during harvest season. Its historic grain elevator from 1910 towers over the surrounding wheat fields as a defining landmark.
